The websites of "On the Fastrack" and "Safe Havens" have been redesigned. They're pretty basic now, but they'll soon have some interactive elements. Speaking of interactivity, you've probably noticed that the "Kevin & Kell" strips have run out of daily sponsors.
Hurry! Moonbase Press will restore the option for autographed books for a very brief time. Due to fulfillment changes (i.e., the books being shipped from California instead of Georgia), Moonbase Press removed the signed book option as a regular feature. From 3/14-3/26, though, the signed book option will be made available for online purchases. All books requesting a signature will be shipped between 3/29-3/31 from Georgia. Please contact orders@billholbrookstore.com if any questions or concerns.
This weekend I'm in downtown Atlanta for Momocon, an anime con held on the Georgia Tech campus. Next weekend I'll be back downtown for Furry Weekend Atlanta. After that I won't have another con until June when I go to Anthrocon for the annual "Kevin & Kell" patron social, and to debut the next "K&K" collection "On Strike." (After Anthrocon the book will be available at The Bill Holbrook Store.) Plus, I've just added another con to my 2010 con schedule: Otakon in Baltimore on July 30-Aug. 1.
John Lotshaw has relaunched "Accidental Centaurs". Welcome back, oatmunchers!
Star Pirates is conducting a webcomics poll here, which is open to those who have a Profile with them. Don't forget the two other sponsors in the rotation: Curtis Frye and Doc Rat. There's room for more ad sponsors as well.
It's tax time, and for those of you who need to record your vehicle mileage I recently did the artwork for this freelance assignment.
"Fastrack" readers will recall the running gag I had with the computer powered by a wind-up key. One fan of the strip actually created one, which you can see here. (Be sure to scroll down to see it in action.) Remember to now access "Fastrack" at The Washington Post and "Safe Havens" at the Seattle P-I. We have a major event in "Safe Havens," as Thomas has given birth to his son Marlon.
Be sure to read Lindesfarne's Blog for extra background on the strip's storylines. Catherine Aura's tweets continue her adventures in the human realm (romantic and otherwise). Right now, Catherine and Nigel are moving in with her significant other, Greg.
My oldest daughter continues to report on her adventures in China on her blog.
